Research- Colour gradient

Now that I have applied the cross and additive dissolve transitions, I am looking into making alterations to the colour gradient, using Adobe Premier Pro. In the proposal, One of the three areas that i was planning to communicate my concept through was colour. Even though will not hold as much impact compared to the area of cinematography and editing, I still think that a manipulating the colour of the film could further develop the film to convey a balance of tone between positive and negative.

I previously explored the use of colour palette to convey emotion in my last project that documented the positive and negative aspects of grief. This video above helped me to work out a colour gradient that connote a balance between depression/anxiety and motivation/joy. To do this, i reduced the saturation and increased the blue hue slightly.

After I finished that project, I felt that the increase in blue hue was not subtle enough, which subtracted from the seriousness tone that was needed in documenting these binary opposite sides of grief.

Intend to improve on this by researching a different method of applying a colour gradient on Adobe Premier Pro.
