After review the current progress of my project, my tutor said that I have one week to:
- Storyboard/ planning and trials.
- Link ideas to research- ideas- sampling in editing, cinematography, sound and colour.
- Explain what I have mentioned in the project proposal- how will I represent my personal experience with grief?
- Write script
My Tutor also told me to reflect on these questions:
- What are the key emotions?
- What is your story?
- What are the dark/ light connotations?
The tutor gave me these questions to consider, as they will help to lead the script and the storyboard. They will have to be linked to research and to my personal perspective of grief.
From this tutor session, it is clear that I require more sampling and planning in this week to prepare for the final piece. As the deadline for the project is in three weeks at this current time, I will have to condense story boarding, script writing and sampling with film and animation into this week.
Upon discussion with my tutor, I have realised that the I will need to establish what the the target audience is for my piece.
Therefore this week, I will:
- Write a script for the film
- make a rough draft of a story board
- experiment with cinematography and editing in relation to the research gathered
- experiment with animation in relation to research
- plan ahead of time as to how the remaining weeks will be ordered.
